On Wednesday 5th April, LKS2 had an extraordinary Egyptian day!
We have had a very exciting couple of weeks in DT planning, designing, making AND showing off our Stone Age outfits in our fashion show.
We would like to know what you liked most about this whole process and why.
Leave a comment and tell us:
- Your favourite part of the process and why.
- What you have learned.
- What you found difficult.
We looked forward to reading your comments,
Miss Fillary, Miss C and Ms Mothersill
In LKS2 we had an exciting DT day last week for our Stone Age outfit making day!
We all planned, designed and made our very own Stone Age outfit. We will be showing these off in our catwalk assembly on Friday.
For now… take a look at some of the pictures of the design and make process.
As part of your homework this week we would like you to tell us what you are most looking forward to this year.
Some of the exciting things we have coming up are:
- Making stone age outfits.
- The pantomime.
- Christmas concerts.
- Creative week.
- Grendon Hall.
- Our topics: The Stoneage, Ancient Egypt, The Vikings.
So, what are you looking forward to most? (it doesn’t have to be on the list.)
Why are you looking forward to it?
What are you hoping to learn?

Hello Lower Key Stage 2!
Welcome to our blog – we are finally back up and running and are already well into our new school year.
Keep your eyes peeled for new blog posts! Throughout the year we will be doing lots of exciting things which will be posted on our blog. You will even have the chance to contribute to our blog posts too!
Well done on all of your hard work so far this year!
YABBA DABBA DOOOOO!
What a wonderful time we had at the castaway sleepover! Thank you all for being so well behaved and making it fun for all the teachers (even though we were all so sleepy the next day!) Look through the photos and add a comment to tell us what your favourite part was!
We also had a great time at Sutton Courtney nature reserve – please feel free to tell us all about your trip here too! Photos to follow soon.
Hi Matthew (Smith),
My teacher found your letter when she was on holiday in Barcelona on a stony beach, and brought it to school and gave it to us. Have you been rescued yet because we saw an article on the news about three stranded people?
The island sounds a good place to go sunbathing, swimming and scuba diving. I’m sorry your lonely. I live in England with my family. Have you got any siblings if you do, how old are they?
Have you built a shelter to live in while you’re on the island?
I play games at my house but I don’t go fishing. How do you catch fish? Because I have never tried.
Can you give us some more information so we can help you?
Hope to hear from you soon.

P.S. We are worried about you.
