What a great few days we have had in Grendon Hall!
We would all like to say a massive well done to all of the children who came! So many of you went out of your comfort zones and tried new things, even when you felt a little bit scared or had worries. It was so lovely to see the smiles on all of your faces after completing your challenges and we hope you have returned home feeling happy, proud of yourselves and most of all feeling like you have had a really good time!
Well done everybody! Have a restful weekend and we will see you on Monday.

We have had another fun filled day of activities today! Sadly the sunshine didn’t come out as we thought it would but it has still been great!
We have just had dinner it pulled pork fajitas which were surprisingly very popular! For pudding we had chocolate and pear upside down cake!
Now the children are having some free time outside and we will soon be doing our evening activities before a much earlier bedtime than last night (we hope)
See you all tomorrow!! The children can’t wait to tell you all of their stories!
Wow!! What a fantastic first day at Grendon we have had. When we arrived we went for a tour of the site which is just such a lovely place. Children then had their lunch in the sunshine and had some free time where they played games and enjoyed the lovely weather!
After lunch this the children did two activities. These ranged from archery, canoeing, raft building, the swamp and other team building games.
For dinner we enjoyed burgers and chips followed by a delicious chocolate brownie and ice cream which everyone scoffed down after their busy day.
After a lot of waiting the children then finally went to their bedrooms and made their beds… they found this quite tricky but worked together to get it done.
Then the children (who were very sleepy at this point) enjoyed either an egg drop challenge or melted marshmallows over a camp fire.
We have had a great day and can’t wait for tomorrow!!!

We have arrived at Grendon Hall safely 🙂 we had two buses full of very excited children on the way. Next up: children are going to be shown around, they will make their beds and then have some lunch before activities this afternoon.
You’ll hear more from us soon!
